Serious charges of groping and molestation have been raised against Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein. The producer is being questioned by police after a 22-year-old unidentified Italian model lodged a formal complaint against the producer.

No charges have yet been levied on the producer and the investigations are still on. According to New York Daily News, the model told police in her complaint that the Oscar-winning Hollywood producer coaxed her into his Manhattan office, after a meeting at the red carpet event of "The Rockettes' New York Spring Spectacular" on Thursady.

After their meeting, Weinstein allegedly emailed the woman and invited her to his office to "talk business" on Friday where he groped her breasts and private area. The incident happened at about 6:00 p.m. at the Tribeca Film Center.

"He asked if her breasts were real before touching them," said a police source on the matter. "She asked him to stop and he put his hand up her skirt. He asked for a kiss, she responded 'No.'"

Soon after, the woman left the building and called up a friend to pick her up. The woman was reportedly so much disturbed by the incident that her friend drove her directly to the 9th Precinct station house in the East Village. The matter was later reported at the 1st Precinct station in Tribeca.

The former beauty contestant, whose name is withheld from getting public, is said to have close links with Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, Page Six reported.

Meanwhile, representatives of Weinstein have yet not commented on the matter. However, an unofficial source close to the  "Shakespeare in Love" hit maker has said that all the accusations are false and appears to be a blackmail attempt as the 63-year-old did not commit the crime.
