Original vampire-werewolf hybrid Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) will return with an important mission in "The Originals" Season 2, episode 17 titled "Exquisite Corpse." Klaus must save his sister, Rebekah, before Eva Sinclair (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) could have full control over her witch body.
Rebekah Mikaelson found out in "The Originals" Season 2, episode 15 titled "They All Asked for You" the true identity of the body that she jumped into when she was trapped in the Fauline Cottage. Rebekah's life will be in danger in the upcoming new episode as Eva Sinclair reemerges as the rightful owner of her body.
The CW Network released a promo video for "The Originals" Season 2, episode 17 titled "Exquisite Corpse." In the promo video, Klaus and Elijah Mikaelson (Daniel Gillies) ask the witches to help in saving their sister before something bad happens to her.
The synopsis for the upcoming episode teased Klaus will be forced to trust his long-lost witch sister Freya (Riley Voelkel) in order to save Rebekah. Klaus informs Freya in the promo video that Eva Sinclair has resumed control of her body which leaves Rebekah trapped inside.
Elderly witch Josephine LaRue (Meg Foster) tells Elijah about what Eva Sinclair can do to Rebekah. "Eva will use your sister up," Josephine declares. During their visit, Elijah and Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) will find out more from Josephine about Eva Sinclair's violent past.
The next scene shows Freya giving a warning that if Eva Sinclair dies before Rebekah Mikaelson is freed from her body, then Rebekah will be gone forever. Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) is another person who wants to save Rebekah's life.
Marcel asks a reluctant Vincent (Yusuf Gatewood) to help in taking down Eva Sinclair, the witch known for performing sacrificial spells on young witches so she can steal their power. One of Eva's victims includes the young powerful witch named Davina Claire (Danielle Campbell).
Vincent also warns that if Eva Sinclair dies, then all of her victims die. Elijah declares he will not abandon his sister.
Meanwhile, Marcel and Vincent's plan to stop Eva take an unexpected turn. "I'm the one who says how you die," Eva tells Vincent while attacking him. Watch the promo video below.
"The Originals" Season 2 returns on April 6, Monday night at 8 p.m. ET with episode 17 titled "Exquisite Corpse" on the CW Network.
