Paris Hilton has declared that Kim Kardashian has made it big in show business only because of her. The hotel heiress and DJ has suggested that Kardashian epic rise to fame would not have been possible without her presence in the reality star's life.
Hilton was speaking with Joe Zee in the latest episode of "Style Session" at her new New York apartment, which the 34-year-old proudly refers to as her as her favourite place to have "dope parties after hours." In the exclusive interview, the multi tasker suggested that Kardashians would not have been famous without her backing.
"It's nice to inspire people," the American socialite told Yaoo Style. "We've known each other since we were little girls, we've always been friends."
Kardashian had worked as Hilton's personal assistant and stylist before 2003. In fact, the queen of reality shows of present times was first gained media attention due to her friendship and closeness with the heiress. Both the TV beauties are criticized for being a celebrity not through talent or work, but through wealth and lifestyle.
Hilton started her career with modelling, making appearances in Hollywood parties to gain some media attention and a few cameo roles in movies, but shot to fame overnight in 2003 due to her sex tape titled "1 Night In Paris." Following the sex tape, Hilton ventured out into reality TV shows where she co-starred with another socialite Nicole Richie in a FOX reality series "The Simple Life." The hotel heiress is also a jewellery designer, author, perfumer,actress, singer and businesswoman.
Kardashian's career graph is also quite similar to Hilton's. After the failed attempts to gain recognition in parties and social hangouts, the leak of her sex tape with Ray J made her a star overnight. The infamous sex tape was closely followed by a reality TV show "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" which, besides her also features her parents Kris and Bruce Jenner and sisters Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Daily Mail reported.
The show is in its 10th season and is a huge hit among TV viewers. Apart from appearing on KUWTK, Kardashian is also a model, actress with a handful of cameo roles in her kitty, TV host, perfumer and businesswoman with several clothing line store and other beauty products.
