It seemed that the "The Twilight Saga's" love triangle is becoming a reality.
News broke that Robert Pattinson is engaged to his girlfriend FKA Twigs. The reports were sparked after T-Pain spilled the beans in an interview with Vulture. Unnamed sources of E! News confirmed the news that will break the hearts of loyal Twilight fans of Team Edward.
However, among those who were surprised is Kristen Stewart who seemed to still have feelings for her ex-boyfriend Pattinson. According to Hollywood Life, Stewart was "devastated" upon hearing the news.
"Kristen was not told - he didn't reach out to her and tell her. That ship has sailed. He doesn't talk to her - they have two completely different lives. She is not a part of his day at all. FKA is his life now," an insider told the publication.
Part of the reason why Stewart is upset is due to the fact that her ex-boyfriend did not inform her. The actress did not want to believe the engagement and was reportedly hoping that it was some sort of prank like what T-Pain said. The news about the engagement was announced six months after the RPattz was confirmed dating the singer.
Meanwhile, a separate report from Hollywood Life claimed that "Twilight" actor Taylor Lautner was the first to reach out to the actress and offer his shoulder for her to cry on. The report stated that as soon as Lautner found out about Pattinson's engagement, he reached out to Stewart. It seems like Lautner is acting out his role as Jacob for Bella.
Stewart dated the actor for three years during the filming of the "Twilight" series. The two broke up in May 2013 after it was revealed that the actress cheated on her boyfriend with "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders.
