George R.R. Martin has been teasing fans for a long time and there is no confirmed release date for the book yet. However, the author has launched an excerpt of a chapter from "The Winds of Winter" that is written from the perspective of Sansa Stark.

The fifth season for "Game of Thrones" HBO exclusive series is about to commence before which the author had started teasing his fans. He has already released two excerpts from the book and this is the third one.

The last book in the series named "The Dance of the Dragons" got released four years ago and it is a really long wait for fans to know what happens next. The developers of the television series confirmed that there will be a lot of spoilers in the upcoming season which will also change some of the plot for the television audience.

In the chapter, Sansa Stark is still stuck with Little Finger but she has her mind set on her husband Tyrion Lannister. Even though, Cersei tries multiple times to find and kill the dwarf, he continues to find a way to escape, reports Contact Music. 

Stark feels guilty that she has to betray her husband and venture on her own. From the chapter, it is clearly evident that even though she doesn't love him much, she has a soft corner for Tyrion and feels sorry for him. 

Martin is known to tease readers repeatedly before he finally brings the book out. Meanwhile, people can enjoy the next season of "Game of Thrones" from April. 13. 
HBO has also planned to launch the season at the same time in multiple countries so as to fight piracy, adds Entertainment Weekly.
