"The Voice" Season 8 (2015) featured its second part of Live Playoffs round on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 wherein the remaining ten contestants performed live for the first time. Meanwhile, Adam Levine, Pharrell Williams, Christina Aguilera and Blake Shelton continued to mentor and judge their team members as they prepare for another important elimination. For those unfamiliar, the top 20 competed in the Live Playoffs round to impress the judges and win the votes from American audience. The artists from each team sang the song of their coach's choice. At the end of the Live Playoff round, two artists from each team based on public voting will advance to the final level of "The Voice" Season 8 (2015). And based on his choice, each coach will select third artist from their team to move into the final phase.
On Tuesday night, artists from Team Christina and Team Adam participated in "The Voice" Live Playoffs Part 2. The show opened with a surprise celebrity guest performance. Sia sang her latest single "Elastic Heart."
The first artist performing on the stage is from Team Adam. Tonya Boyd-Cannon performed Elton John's "Take Me to the Pilot." Next up was Joshua Davis from Team Adam. Joshua sang "Budapest" by George Ezra.
Sonic from Team Christina performed the cover of "I'm Going Down" Rose Royce. She was followed by Brian Johnson from Team Adam. Brian sang "At this Moment" by Billy Vera.
Kimberly Nichole from Team Christina took the stage next. She performed the rendition of "What's Up" by 4 Non Blonds. Lexi Devila from Team Christina was performing next. Devila sang "All By Myself" by Celine Dion.
Nathan Hermida from Team Adam performed next. He sang "Chains" by Nick Jonas. India Carney from Team Christina set the foot on stage to sing "Hurt" by her own coach.
Rob Taylor from Team Christina was next. He sang "Fifty Shades of Grey" soundtrack "Earned It." The song has been recorded by artist "The Weeknd." The last performer of "The Voice" Season 8 (2015) Live Playoffs Part 2 was Deanna Johnson from Team Adam. She sang "Down to the River to Pray."
Voting lines for the viewers are now open. The results based on their votes will be announced in "The Voice" Season 8 (2015) Live Playoff Results episode airing Monday, April 13, 2015 at 8:00 pm on ABC. Stay tuned for more spoilers and recap.
