In a conference for his concert “JJ Timeline: Genesis World Tour 2015,” Taiwan-based award-winning singer-songwriter JJ Lin reveals that he was invited to appear in a movie.
The 34-year-old singer announced the invitation after telling the media his plan to invite his former partners, award-winning singers and actresses Charlene Choi and Gloria Tang, to his concert. Lin applauded Choi's outstanding performance in the movie "Sara" and wished success for the actress in all film festivals.
Lin did not reveal much detail about his upcoming movie project.
“JJ Timeline: Genesis World Tour 2015” is Lin's major concert for this year.
When asked about the guests to his concerts, Lin told the press that he was hoping for Jacky Cheung--a singer-songwriter and actor, considered as one of the "Four Heavenly King" of Hong Kong--to appear as well in his big event. He added that he would be delighted "if Jacky would just come to listen instead of joining him on the stage," MSN reported.
Born as Lin Jun Jie, JJ was raised in Singapore and has won numerous awards, including Best New Artist for his debut album "Music Voyager" at the 15th Golden Melody Awards in 2004. He also won Best Male Mandopop Performer for his 10th album "Stories Untold" at the 25th Golden Melody Awards in 2014, as well as Artist of the Year in Singapore's 16th Mnet Asian Music Awards in the same year.
Since his debut in 2003, Lin has released 11 studio albums, a compilation album and three world tour DVD's.
Lin also appeared in GTV's "Hanazakarino Kimitachihe" in 2006, Singaporean animation "Legend of the Sea," "So I'm Not Handsome," and had a cameo in the 2015 Taiwanese comedy film "The Wonderful Wedding."
