Suzuki Motor of America was named as the official manufacturer of 2015 MotoAmerica AMA/FIM North American Road Racing Championship series.

The said announcement was unveiled as Suzuki begins celebrating its 30 years of GSX-R performance. To add more to Suzuki's major role as the official manufacturer for the series, the motorcycle giant will also include its fan-fave Pit Stop events that will be conducted on locations near the MotoAmerica races. Suzuki is also expected to host displays of their products such as scooters, motorcycles, and ATVs at all MotoAmerica events, Cycle World reported.

According to Wayne Rainey, MotoAmerica president and three-time 500cc World Champion, Suzuki riders are the hardest to beat on motorcycle races during his time. He also disclosed that the battles with Suzuki riders had been tough and unforgettable. Rainey added that he look forward to working with the company since Suzuki is now partners with MotoAmerica.

Suzuki got its very first AMA Superbike victory in 1977, and the team remains the all-time leader with a record of 173 wins. The motorcycle giant was able to earn its first of 13 Superbike Championships in 1979, no brand has earned more as of today.

"The Yoshimura Suzuki team has always been strong and they are strong again this year. Also, big congrats to Suzuki on their 30th anniversary of the GSX-R," Rainey said.

According to Rod Lopusnak, Operations Head, Motorcycle/ATV Sales and Operations, Suzuki Motor of America has such rich history when it comes to road racing in the United States and they all look forward to support this sport together with MotoAmerica, according to Motorcycle USA.
