Another "American Idol" fun night on Fox happened Wednesday, April 8 for the season 14's episode 24. The episode entitled "Top 8 Perform" featured Reuben Stutter, former idol from Season 2, who went up on stage with Ryan Seacrest to deliver the nationwide voting results.

Nick Fradiani, 29, held on to his guitar and kicked-off the night with his personal version of Katy Perry's hit in 2010, "Teenage Dream." Though Harry Connick questioned the acoustic man's choice before his performance, he told the finalist that he liked his energy during the production number.

Jennifer Lopes, on the other hand, was on a thankful mode saying "See - that's changing the song and making it your own in the best way. That was amazing. I could hear it on the radio today."

"I thought it was a killer song for you - only because the spirit of the song... was right. It played to all of your strengths," Keith Urban said to agree with the "Booty" singer.

When Connick stood on the stage for his performance, the 29 year-old finalist could not resist teasing the judge, "Harry, I am so sorry. It was ok; it's one of those subpar performance. I am sure you will reclaim yourself next week."

Fradiani continued, "I think that my being involved in arranging the song helped me a lot. I felt a direct connection to it, compared to the past weeks. This time, I am not thinking that I am in a contest because that mindset didn't work for me the past weeks. With music, it's not competition."

"American Idol" season 14 airs Wednesday, 8 PM ET on Fox.
