With reports claiming that the Google Nexus 5 2015 will be manufactured by LG, new reports stated that the smartphone will sport similar features with the upcoming LG G4.

According to Korean news website E Today cited by Android Origin, Google will once again partnered with its long-time business companion, LG Electronics, in making this year's Nexus smartphone. The report intensified the rumors claiming that Google is already in talks with LG after the former's engineers visited the latter's last month for a tour or ocular visit.

Meanwhile, International Business Times reported that Google Nexus 5 2015 features are similar to that of LG G4. If the report proved to be true, the upcoming Nexus smartphone will sport a design similar to LG G3, but with a metal casing thanks to latest technology used by the company.

There are also rumors stating that the smartphone will be equipped with a high caliber camera as the advanced camera module will begin its mass production at LG Innotek's plant this week as the LG G4 will be finally revealed to the public later this month. The report added that the back camera will be 16 megapixels and will allow more light to come that will yield to better photos. Its front-facing camera is 8 megapixels. The handset will reportedly debut on Apr. 28.

The name of the upcoming Nexus smartphone is still unknown, but some publications are referring to the handset as Nexus 7, but the new device may be confused with the company's tablet. Other reports are calling this year's smartphone as Google Nexus 5 2015. The smartphone is purported to be released in the fall. However, Google is still tight-lipped about its plans this year.
