"Criminal Mind" Season 10 Episode 20 will feature the appearance of a Hollywood veteran Ed Asner. According to the official synopsis (via Spoiler TV) for "A Place at the Table," BAU looks into the case of the family that was murdered at their dining room in family's Maryland residence.

The team including David Rossi, Aaron Hotchner, Derek Morgan, Kate Callahan and others dig deeper into victims' family and friends' history. In an attempt to find the murderer, the team unveils some secrets that led to the brutal murder of the entire family.

Meanwhile, Hotch will find himself making amends at personal front. When Hotch learns about his father-in-law Roy's (Ed Asner) health condition, he tries to mend fences with him. Roy is suffering from Alzheimer and Hotch must look after him.

Speaking to TV Line, "Criminal Minds'" producer Erica Messer said that Roy is not at all fond of Hotch and believes his daughter Haley died because of Hotch. Adding to the trouble is the "emotional vulnerability of a strong man who's going to have to depend on others to survive, and the last thing he wants to do is ask Hotch for any help," Messer explains while talking about Ed Asner's storyline in Episode 20.
