Liam, a Siamese cat from Grants Pass, Oregon survived mysteriously when he fell from a 25 feet electric pole and got shocked by the electric current. The 17-pound cat survived miraculously.
Jennifer Kagay, the owner of the cat said it happened while she and her husband were lying in bed early Tuesday. They heard a "bang" and the power service stopped. The estranged owners came out of their home and saw that the cat was staying still on top of the transformer up on the pole, according to ABC News.
The couple though thought the cat had died after the shock, but were amused when they saw the cat to move. The cat then fell from the top of the pole, which is 25 feet high. That horrified the Kagays, who realized that the cat might be in serious trouble. The cat also snagged a live wire during its fall, YDR reported.
Luckily, the cat landed on a soft bush and did not get hurt due to the fall. Cats often roam around everywhere and go to dangerous places, but surviving a high-voltage electric shock and a fall from 25 feet height is just impossible to fathom.
Later, the owners took the cat to vets where the doctor said the cat may have to have a leg amputated. The Kagays told that the cat has nearly used up all of its nine lives. A photograph taken by the owner after the incident shows that the cat is in a near-healthy condition.
