Hoopa is the 720th Pokemon in the Pokedex and its Pokedex entry says that its true form, which is unbound, holds a lot of power. In addition, it is capable of taking hold of anything using its six big arms and six rings. It is much smaller in its confined form. Moreover, Hoopa's two forms have their own distinction.

In its confined form, Hoopa stands 1'08" and weighs 19.8 lbs (9 kg). It is light purple in color with several pink markings. A v-shape marking is notable on its chest and it has bands around its wrists. Hoopa has three gold rings, one around its lower body and one hanging freely on each of its horns. It has a psychic and ghost typing, making it more vulnerable to ghost and dark types.

Hoopa changes into its unbound form when the prison bottle key item is used on it. This form is exclusive in "Omega Ruby" and "Alpha Sapphire."

Hoopa unbound stands 21'04" and weighs 1,080.2 lbs (490 kg). has same color patterns with its confined form; however, its main color is light blue with slightly darker markings. It is bipedal with six big arms. Its arms are disconnected from its body and have a ring around each wrist. Its typing is psychic and dark, which has double weakness to bug types.

The Pokemon has teleportation abilities, enabling it to transport things. Hoopa, in its confined form, is the only Pokemon that learns Hyperspace Hole. On the other hand, its unbound and true form, has its signature move Hyperspace Fury. Hoopa Unbound can bend dimensions, allowing it to get hold of anything.

Gamespot has featured a video revealing Hoopa's unbound form in action. It can be seen battling Pokemon Regirock, Registeel, and Regice, letting players know that it can use moves such as Energy Ball, Dark Pulse, and Hyper Beam.

Hoopa unbound will be the key feature in the new Pokemon film "Hoopa and the Clash of Ages." For the meantime, fans have to wait for the secret to Hoopa's transformation, as it has yet to be revealed.
