iOS 8.3 was released by Apple. Check out some of the awesome features that come with iOS 8.3 update.

Tech Republic shared the features of Apple's latest update - iOS 8.3.

1.    New Improved Siri With Speakerphone Calls: The latest iOS update allows the user to make speakerphone calls with the help of Siri.

Users can say to Siri - "Call (contact name) using speakerphone." After this voice command, Siri will call the person and it will start on speakerphone.

2.    Free Downloads With no Password: In iOS 8.3, a user with no Touch ID can manage the password settings in order to access and download free apps from iTunes App Store or books from iBook Store. No password is required to download free apps.

A user will have to open the Settings app and head to iTunes & App Stores then go to Password Settings. One can select Always Require or there is one more option - Require After 15 Minutes. Finish by disabling the Require Password.

3.    New iMessage Feature: The new iOS 8.3 update has added a new feature to the iMessage app. Now, a user can segregate the messages according to people in the contact list and people who are not.

How to start this iMessage feature: Go to Settings and select Messages. Last step is to look for the Filter Unknown Senders toggle and see if it is switched On or not. It should always be On for this feature to function.

4.    Taking Care of iMessage Spam: Now, a user can report spam messages and they are collected as junk messages. To activate this feature: Go to Messages App. Select the thread you wish to report as spam or junk. A new button - Report Junk has been added and tapping the button automatically intimates Apple about the thread being junk.

5.    iOS 8.3 With Wireless CarPlay Feature: Cars compatible with CarPlay can use this new feature in iOS 8.3. A user can easily connect the device to the compatible car without plugging in. 

6.    Users can Make free Wi-Fi Calls: The latest iOS update allows the user to make phone calls using Wi-Fi hotspot or the home network, according to Komando.
