Aside from its wireless CarPlay and Siri speakerphone calls, other cool features of Apple iOS 8.3 are filtering iMessage conversations, reporting iMessage spam and password not required for free downloads.

A new feature of the Messages app allows easily filtering out messages based on those who are in the contacts list and those who are not. If a user receives an iMessage from a sender who is not in the contact list in iOS, the user can now report the message as a junk message to Apple.

With the iTunes App Store, users who do not have Touch ID enabled for purchases can easily tweak the password settings so that entering the password is no longer required when downloading the iBook Store or iTunes App Store's free items.

On the other hand, Apple iOS 8.3 is having a glitch that affects some early model Bluetooth GPS accessories including the Bad Elf Pro and the Dual GPS 150. Position information from these accessories may not be delivered to iOS applications when used with Apple iOS 8.3, according to Fore Flight.

For users with Wi-Fi + Cellular iPads who have upgraded to Apple iOS 8.3, the internal GPS or Stratus of iPad can be used after disconnecting the Bluetooth accessories. Those with Wi-Fi only iPads will have to wait for a resolution, connect to a Stratus or upgrade to a newer GPS accessory.
