A young female protester abruptly disrupted a press conference with the European Central Bank President Mario Draghi on April 15, Wednesday.

The female protester, Josephine Witt, interrupted the monthly press con at Frankfurt as she jumped onto the Central Bank's chief while she shouts "End ECB dictatorship," as she threw white confetti paper on him. The security tried to grab the young female from the desk.

Witt was in black pants and black t-shirt with the slogan "End ECB Di*ktatorship" when she climbed on top of the table where Draghi was delivering his speech as opening remarks at the bank's policy meeting. Papers flew in the air as the young woman threw them at the ECB Chief, The Guardian reported.

The protest was left unclear. The bank's securities wrestled the young woman off the table as flyers flew all over the place. It turned out to be leaflets which showed on Twitter accusing the ECB of exercising "arrogance" and "autocratic hegemony."

According to the initial findings, the young protester was registered as a journalist for a particular organization which she does not really represent. Just like the rest of the ECB guests, she went through identity check, x-ray and metal detector of her belongings before she was able to enter the premises, according to CNBC.

The press con was about Draghi's speech regarding the European economy which he calmly resumed after the commotion. The ECB security has put the incident under investigation already. The security staff of the bank was praised due to its quick and effective action.
