The video of the ESPN reporter was leaked online, and published on LiveLeak shows the enraged McHenry at a towed car retrieval compound in Arlington, while she paid the fees for her vehicle's release.

An ESPN spokesperson referring to the tirade by their staffer, told US Weekly in a statement yesterday that Britt McHenry was being suspended for one week, "effective immediately."

What has surprised many critics is that having the lot clerk drawing the reporter's attention to the operational security camera, Mc Henry still continued her savage verbal rampage.

The video footage that has gone viral appears to have specifically been edited, while retaining the worst rants of the reporter.

The footage includes McHenry referring to the clerk's appearance, lack of skills and education.

It took only a few hours for the video to get the attention of followers and ESPN staff, who through a spokesperson said they were aware of the video and were "reviewing the matter with her."

With several media outlets reporting the rampage, McHenry then decided to take to Twitter to issue what followers of the reporter deemed from comments posted on her social media account,  as an insincere apology.

Britt McHenry in her tweet cum apology claimed that it was frustration that drove her tantrum at the Arlington towing office.

The ESPN reporter in her social media remarks said she should have taken the 'high road' and called her actions a mistake that she would  draw a lesson from.
