"I regret that there are people out there who found the photo offensive," Bublé started his apology in an Instagram post on April 17, Friday. "That was not and is not my intention."

On April 14, Tuesday, Bublé posted an Instagram photo taken by her Argentine actress wife Luisana Lopilato, 27, took in Miami, Fla. with a caption, "There was something about this photo lu took ,that seemed worthy of instagram" and hashtags #myhumps, #babygotback, #hungryshorts, #onlyinmiami, #picoftheday and #beautifulbum.

On the same day, Bublé and Lopilato were spotted enjoying a vacation in Miami, Fla., with their son Noah, who is 18 months old, according to Daily Mail.

In his apology statement, Bublé pointed out that anybody who knows him would never misinterpret the message of the photo "that seems to have caused unexpected rage by some people."

Bublé went on to say that he does not "court controversy" but he realizes that "a photo that was meant to be complimentary and lighthearted has turned into a questionable issue."

On the other hand, Bublé expressed that it hurts him deeply that anyone would think that he would disrespect women or be insulting to any human being as he was not brought up that way and it is not his character.

To end his apology, Bublé noted that "women are to be celebrated, loved, respected, honored and revered. I've spent my life believing that and will continue to do so."

In an interview with eTalk in Toronto, Canada in March, Bublé said, "I was a jerk and I was careless and reckless with the hearts of women I was with and I got my karma. I earned it. I got my butt and heart kicked and it hurt me enough that I looked in the mirror and I didn't want it to happen again."
