Following the failed landing test of SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket, a new leaked video surfaced on the Internet. This time the video came from a camera installed on the barge, according to Engadget.

The landing test was made in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean on Tuesday. The video shows the rocket hovering on top of the barge almost completing the landing process. However, a sudden gust of wind topples the rocket over which exploded in the end.

While the rocket exploded completely, the drone installed into it only received minor damage. Despite the failed landing attempt, SpaceX will still push towards its plan to land its next rocket on land.

According to Daily Mail, the leaked video first appeared on Reddit. The video also shows how the SpaceX rocket overcompensates for its extreme tilt angle.

A deleted tweet posted by SpaceX CEO Elon Musk said that the cause of the failed landing is "stiction in the biprop throttle valve, resulting in control system phase lag." This means that the valve which was designed in order to control the rocket's flow propellant and oxidizer was not movie fast enough.

This caused the rocket's on-board computers to lag and in return could not properly react in order to correct the rockets extreme angle tilt.

Landing the rocket in an upright position is a difficult task and SpaceX CEO once compared it to balancing a stick. Musk said that there is a 50-50 chance for their test to be successful, adding that constant improvement will be made into the project in order to perfect it.
