The clip featured a man washing the windows of a New York City skyscraper. From out of nowhere, "Spider-Man" swoops in and informs the guy that he missed a spot, according to Comic Book.

Thousands of fans now are questioning whether or not the after credits clip was an official teaser from Marvel or whether or not it is fake.

"The Avengers: Age of Ultron" after credits was first posted on YouTube by user @spidey AoU on Sunday. As of late, the clip has already received more than 300,000 views.

Those who have watched the clip weighed in on the possibility that it could really be an accurate first look at the well-loved Marvel character.

YouTube user @JustAMisfitt wrote, "I'm so conflicted right now. WHAT DO I BELIEVE?"

@sam frame wrote, "The CGI is obviously not good enough for this to be real, but whoever made this really understands 'Spider-Man's' humor. This is exactly how he should be in the films, funny/annoying, and he should just be constantly talking even when no one is listening. He just needs to be an annoying little kid in a suit."
