The love birds, Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger, have parted ways. The couple has finally broken up after a hiatus of a month in their relationship.
"It's not a break," People quoted a source close to the couple. "It's done."
The source further claims that the two are busy in their own lives and don't have much in common. While the "Wrecking Ball" hit maker is busy making music and is working on her next album, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver's 21-year-old son was spotted partying at Coachella festival with close pals sans her girlfriend.
The couple was an item from the past six months and became well known for their wild partying ways. Cyrus, who was earlier frowned upon by Shriver, was later accepted by almost every family member of Patrick including the "Terminator" star with whom the couple ushered in the New Year.
The couple's romance hit a rough patch when Patrick was spotted getting close to an unknown, mysterious bikini-clad brunette while on a spring break on March 15 at the Mango Deck Restaurant & Bar. Just a couple of days later,th e USC student was again spotted in the company of beauties while getting his back rubbed by ex-girlfriend.
The mega star was reportedly embarrassed by these PDA filled pics and the cheating rumours. Daily Mail reported that the couple was last spotted in each other's company on April 2 out for lunch in Los Angeles and has not reportedly seen each other since then. Apparently, the couple has grown apart in the last few days and the romance seems to have fizzled out.
