P.T., a fantastic playable teaser for a new Silent Hills horror game, will be removed from the PlayStation Store this week, The Verge reported.

A note on the Konami's official website for the next Silent Hills game said that the distribution period of the Playable Teaser (P.T.)  on PlayStation Store will expire on Wednesday of this week. The title was released in 2014 at Gamescom, and players immediately solved the mystery to disclose that it was a teaser for a new game known as Silent Hills from Guillermo del Toro and Hideo Kojima's studio, Kojima Productions.

However, rumors have been going around for a while that publisher Konami was parting with Kojima Productions. For years, the duo has worked on the critically-acclaimed Metal Gear Solid series. However, recently Kojima's logo was pulled from the sites for P.T. as well as Metal Gear Solid 5.

Also, video game designer and producer Hideo Kojima has confirmed that he is working on MGS 5, which is going to be released this fall; however, the status of the Silent Hills game is unclear. Del Toro said at a film discussion in San Francisco that it is not going to happen and that breaks his heart, according to an unconfirmed report.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, which Kojima claims is his last Metal Gear Solid game, will come out on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in September of this year, according to Kotaku. The publisher Konami said that they will continue to develop the Silent Hills series.
