Rockstar released a new patch for the "Grand Theft Auto 5" PC version game and the patch offers a fix for many things, including the ability to use mods.

The patch version 350.1 focuses on fixing the bugs, instability of the game and also intermittent crashes plaguing the game, according to Game Spot. After the updated version, the gamers can alt-tab their way back in to the Steam version of GTA 5, which will now be issue free.

Earlier, the gamers were facing an issue at this moment in the game when the game would suddenly freeze especially when a robber robs a shop off its snacks. The same thing also happened when the gamers wanted to take selfies, according to Twin Finite.

After the update, the users will no longer lose their saved cars, which was occurring in various occasions in the game. Prior to the update, when the gamers were driving their new car from the street in to the garage, their saved cars would get hidden without any warnings whatsoever.

When this bug was previously reported, the developers at Rockstar advised the gamers to make sure that their garages possess empty spaces before they enter their new cars. Despite ensuring that, the gamers were still facing the unknown error. However, it won't be an issue now after the update.

The mod support is no longer available in the game after this patch, which is worrying the gamers the most now. Although the game is not mod supporting, the gamers found a workaround to use them. Mods like Bike riding cows, rude whales, snow, ragdoll physics, etc could be used earlier in GTA 5.

Rockstar is yet to comment on why it removed the use of mods in the game.
