Kobe Bryant's Los Angeles Lakers teammate Jeremy Lin is said to be not the best point guard in NBA at the moment. In fact, the 26-year-old basketball star reportedly has 19 NBA point guards to beat.

For him to become the best NBA point guard of today, Lin needs to have a better record than those of Jeff Teague, Stephen Curry, Tony Parker, Ty Lawson, Eric Bledsoe, Brandon Knight, Monta Ellis, Russell Westbrook, Kemba Walker, Goran Dragic, Derrick Rose, Kyrie Irving, Damian Lillard, John Wall, Kyle Lowry, Mike Conley, Ricky Rubio, Brandon Jennings, Chris Paul and Tyreke Evans, according to SB Nation.

Meanwhile, Lin took to Twitter to express his sadness over the devastating 7.8 magnitude Nepal earthquake. On April 26, Sunday, the Los Angeles Lakers point guard tweeted, "#PrayforNepal ... saddened watching the news of the earthquake."

Lin's parents are from Taiwan, which was also hit by a 6.5 earthquake in 2012.

Also on April 26, Sunday, Lin's fellow Asian sports superstar Manny Pacquiao also took to Twitter to send message of sympathy to the Nepal earthquake victims. He tweeted a video of himself with his wife, Jinkee Pacquiao.

Teammates Bryant and Lin are known to be supporters of Pacquiao. On April 14, Lin paid the Filipino boxer a visit in his gym in Los Angeles, GMA Network has learned.

On Feb. 13, 2012, Pacquiao's boxing rival Floyd Mayweather Jr. tweeted, "Jeremy Lin is a good player but all the hype is because he's Asian. Black players do what he does every night and don't get the same praise."
