After Floyd Mayweather Jr. won via unanimous decision, Manny Pacquiao said he actually thought he would be the winner of "The Fight Of The Century" that took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 2, Saturday.

"It's a good fight," Pacquiao said, The Guardian reported. "I thought I won the fight."

Thinking he was ahead, Pacquiao said he did not step up the pace late in the fight. During the final round, Pacquiao failed to land a significant punch although Mayweather Jr. quickly retreated to his defensive style and got caught in the corner at one point, Reuters reported.

Eventually, judges turned in scores of 118-110, 116-112 and 116-112 in favor of Mayweather Jr.

The judges were Burt Clements, Glenn Feldman and Dave Moretti. As appointed by the Nevada Athletic Commission, the in-ring referee in the highly anticipated fight was Kenny Bayless, who has officiated seven of Pacquiao's fights and five of Mayweather Jr.'s fights in the past.

Bayless will be paid $25,000 as the referee while Clements, Feldman and Moretti will each be paid $20,000 as judges.

Boos rained on the ring while Mayweather Jr. was having an in-ring interview following his win, making the interview completely inaudible.

Valued at $1 million, the belt for the winner of the fight newly created by the WBC contains the faces of both Pacquiao and Mayweather Jr. along with the faces of boxing legend Muhammad Ali and former WBC president José Sulaimán.

While it is an exact replica of the current belt, the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight belt has thousands of emeralds instead of the gold plating for the center logo.
