Nirvana frontman's mother, Wendy Cobain, did not like "Kurt Cobain: Montage Of Heck." The mother of the legendary rock star was reportedly furious and disturbed by the way her is portrayed in the movie.

Huffington Post reported that the raw documentary, made from journals, artwork and audio recordings from Cobain's personal archive, was too intimate for Wendy. The mother of the late metal rock star was particularly furious at the film's depiction of Cobain's heroin use and the way it deteriorated his body.

"When I showed the film to Kurt's mom and sister, they were furious," director Brett Morgen told the publication. He further clarified that any mother is bound to get upset after watching her child in such an intoxicated and deplorable state.  Morgen further added that Wendy definitely had witnessed her son in such a pitiable state when has was alive, but definitely feels painful when he becomes an exhibition for the whole world.

Apart from Wendy, Kurt's sister, Kimberly Cobain, has also raised an objection on the heroin addiction shown in the docu-series saying that the great guitarist was admittedly embarassed by his addiction problem and never wanted the world to know about it. Morgen justified his movie by saying that Kurt Cobain: Montage Of Heck does not glorify the drug use but rather give a subtle warning of its dire consequences.

Meanwhile, Morgen told People that the late rock star's 22-year-old daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, however, wanted him to make a real and an honest movie about the star. Frances, who is also the co-producer of the movie, was barely 20-month-old when the Nirvana's frontman shot himself at the age of 27. The movie admitedly has bridged the long standing gap between the slain rocker and his daughter.
