After bringing on the momentum to the fans with the new cast members and new looks of the characters in "X-Men: Apocalypse," film maker Bryan Singer gives another update - a photo showing the parents of two known mutants - which teases fans the most.

Singer has posted on his Instagram account a photo featuring a couple, the parents of Scott and Alex Summers. They are watching the "end of the world" on the television. Scott and Alex Summers are the alter egos of Cyclops and Havok, respectively.

Tye Sheridan will play the role of young Cyclops while Lucas Till will reprise his role as Havok.

Producer-screenwriter Simon Kinberg revealed that destruction and chaos are two elements that the fans can expect from the upcoming "X-Men: Apocalypse," as per Cinema Blend.

It is also probable that Mr. and Mrs. Summers are watching the four horsemen carry out the plans of Apocalypse. With physically enhanced powers, these horsemen serve as the titular villain's hands. Archangel, assumed as Death, is reported to be one of Apocalypse's horsemen.

Set in the 1980s, the Summers family will be featured together on screen for the first time in Singer's "X-Men: Apocalypse," according to Screen Rant. However, it is also possible that the couple in the photo could be Scott and Alex's foster parents.

The film stars new comers Sophie Turner, LanaCondor, Kodi Smit-Mcphee, Olivia Munn, and Alexandra Shipp.

Returning cast includes Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Jennifer Lawrence, and Hugh Jackman.

Just like Ultron in Joss Whedon's "Avengers: Age of Ultron" and Thanos in Joe and Anthony Russo's "Avengers: Infinity Wars," En Sabah Nur or Apocalypse is the titular villain of the film, to be played by Oscar Isaac.

The cast members have assembled to commence filming "X-Men: Apocalypse" in Montreal in Canada.

"X-Men: Apocalypse" is slated to premiere in theaters on May 27, 2016.
