Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who are an epitome of ideal marriage, has reportedly sought intervention by a marriage counselor recently to save their relationship.

After months of arguing over petty issues, Pitt and Jolie sought the help of a marriage therapist and attended couselling sessions twice a week, Huffington Post reported. Report claims that the couple is quite happy with the outcome and has pledged to continue the couselling for a long time. The two have reportedly fallen in love all over again and seeing each other in different light.

Brangelina hit the rocky waters in less than a year of their marriage. The couple's marital problems first came to light when the duo was said to be fighting on a balcony in Sydney hotel prior to the world premiere of Jolie's movie "Unbroken."

Rumours about the couple's relationship breakdown became rife when Jolie made a solo appearance on Critics' Choice Award night. Close friends of the couple reportedly feared that the two stars would not make it to their first anniversary.

Meanwhile, the couple is set to appear together in a movie for the first time since the 2005 film "Mr. and Mrs. Smith." The movie titled "By The Sea" is centered around an American couple with estranged relationship who take a vacation in a last-ditch effort to save their marriage. As they spend time with other tourists and locals at a French resort, they reconcile and resolve their issues.

The movie is written and directed by the award-winning actress herself who had reportedly penned the script several years ago. Universal Pictures has announced November 13 as its release date.

"This is a story about a relationship derailed by loss, the tenacity of love, and the path to recovery and acceptance," said Jolie in a statement obtained by TIME. "It has been a privilege to explore these universal human experiences with such a generous and talented cast and crew."
