A few hours after "Divergent" star Miles Teller's heroic deed of saving a pregnant woman and her toddler from drowning hit the headlines, the actor's girlfriend, Keleigh Sperry that it was the woman who risked her life to save him from a possible shark attack.
The 28-year-old actor was photographed leading an unidentified pregnant woman to safety while grasping her hand. The incident happened in Miami beach on May 10 when the star of "Fantastic Four" hit the beach along with his bikini clad girlfriend, .
Several media outlets reported that the actor came forward to their rescue after spotting the woman and her young daughter struggling in rip tide. But Daily Mail claimed that the woman was not drowning as suggested but was warning the actor about a shark lurking in nearby waters. The woman was frantic as she had her daughter on her back to save her from the predator.
The actor sprung into action and brought the mother-child duo on the shore. The actor's girlfriend also helped to bring the woman to safety. The group looked evidently relieved as everybody was out of danger as Keleigh was photographed pressing her hand to her heart in an attempt to calm herself.
Before the rescue drama, the two were having a good time as they put on a rather intimate display for the onlookers as they cuddled with each other in the waters. The actor was clad in a pair of black Quicksilver board shorts on the outing while his hot girlfriend looked ravishing in tangerine-coloured string bikini along with brunette tresses down in two pigtails.
The actor is in Miami to shoot "Arms and The Dudes" with Jonah Hill. The two will play the role of real-life arms dealers, who are contracted by the U.S. government to supply weapons for American allies in Afghanistan, Yahoo! Celebrity reported.
