The Patch 1.2.0 is of vital importance to the House of Wolves DLC, which is slated for release on May 19, as the bugs and issues that affect the gameplay must be resolved first to ensure best game experience. The delay of the patch updates will definitely push back the May 19 roll out of House of Wolves DLC. According to IGN, Bungie is hard at work in resolving the issues. The developer has not announced any delay with the expansion pack for the game.

Community manager David "Deej" Dague posted in the forum: "I've spoken with the finest minds at Bungie about Update 1.2.0 just moments ago. They're working to correct a late-breaking technical issue that would have impacted the way the game launches for a large portion of you. Progress is being made."

"We'll be sharing new details on the deployment schedule that leads to House of Wolves as soon as they become facts. At the very least, you'll hear from me once a day about this. Hang in there, and thank you for your patience," he added.

The delayed in the House of Wolves DLC release may be troublesome for gamers; however, it is better than releasing a content that are plagued with bugs and issues.
