Human Barbie Valeria Lukyanova admitted that some of her recent photos uploaded online were photoshopped to correct defects.

Ever since Lukyanova hit the limelight in 2012, many people accused her of altering her photos or going under the knife to achieve her looks as a living doll. In her recent interview in Cosmopolitan, the Ukrainian model divulged that the photos on her Facebook page last week were photoshopped to perfect the picture.

In the photos, Lukyanova is wearing jean shorts or dubbed as "jorts" paired with a blue crop top and high heels that showed her toned stomach and legs.

"The pictures are Photoshopped to achieve smoothness and color correction. The pictures were taken in the botanical garden on the phone. They were not high quality. I had to edit them in order to correct the defects of the phone picture," Lukyanova told the publication.

However, the model cleared that she did not change anything in terms of her looks and appearance and claimed that her looks are real, according to Huffington Post.

Lukyanova once said that she does not want to look like Mattel's famous toy. She also denied that she underwent surgery to look like a Barbie. She said that she uses make up just to look beautiful. She offers tutorial to her fans and followers. However, the model was under fire when she made remarks against "race-mixing" causing imperfect beauty.

She also left a message to her critics, "Before you criticize someone, pay attention to yourself."
