Taylor Swift's latest album Bad Blood is already creating ripples and if anyone needs concrete proof of this, here it is - the video has gone for 20.1 million views in 24 hours, which makes for a new Vevo record.

The previous record for the highest views in 24 hours was held by Nicki Minaj for her video album Anaconda which had gone for 19.6 million views in a day when it was released back in Aug 2014.

Adding grace to the video are several A-listers of the likes of Selena Gomez, Cindy Crawford, Ellen Pompeo, Mariska Hargitay and Kendrick Lamar and so on.

As has been mentioned in Time, Taylor had made it a point to highlight all those names in the social media circles in the run up to the album's release to create some buzz.

The music video depicted the women all dressed up in sexy but combat dresses and armed with lethal weapons. The song is also believed to have been inspired from the tiff that Taylor is believed to have had with Katy Perry, Daily Mail stated.

Vevo too joined in the celebrations, claiming the combined total views of Taylor's albums which include hits such as 'Blank Space,' 'You Belong With Me,' 'Style' and 'Shake It Off' has gone for 5 billion views on the platform.

Special mention need to be made of 11 songs each of which went for 100 million views each at Vevo. These include - You Belong With Me, Mine, We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, I Knew You Were Trouble, Everything Has Changed, Mean, Love Story, 22, Shake It Off, Blank Space, and Style.

It was just last Sunday that Taylor Swift had made it big at the Billboards Music Awards, walking away with 8 trophies including the once for the 'top female star'.
