"The Voice" season 8 winner Sawyer Fredericks has recently revealed he cannot wait to go home and get back to his activities in the farm, which includes tending cows.

During an interview with "The Voice" host Carson Daly on Today on May 21, Thursday, Fredericks said, "It's definitely still surreal, but I'm super excited to go home."

Fredericks' home in upstate New York is an 88-acre farm complete with cattle. When Daly asked him if he was also looking forward to tending those cows again, Fredericks said, "I like to do that. It's fun. I like doing physical work on the farm. I'm probably the only one that really enjoys it."

The teen also said the rest of his family are his success. He said, "I know they're super proud of me. I mean, I know they're always proud of me, but I know they're really happy."

Aside from winning, Fredericks said that the best part of "The Voice" season 8 is being able to sing with John Fogerty and performing a song written for him by Ray LaMontagne.

Meanwhile, Fredericks' coach Pharrell Williams recently dished on his life prior to his successful singing career.

"I didn't think I was going to make my own music until a few years ago," Williams told Vanity Fair.

Williams told the publication that he started moving around New York and Los Angeles, where he was in hotels a lot, but he still has his place in Virginia along with a residence in Miami.

"There are a lot of incredibly talented young kids in Virginia Beach who are creating their own future," Williams said. "There's magic in the air there."
