Robert, a self-proclaimed online spy, obtained a secret document from one of the Sony Retail Loyalty websites containing great discounts for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita.
The Sony leaked document entails a section that describes the PlayStation 4 gaming console, handheld device PS Vita, and other gaming gadgets, according to Inquisitr. The price drop for PS4 is US$50, while PS Vita is giving a generous discount of $110.
According to Wholesome Gamer, Sony’s official retail loyalty site plans to reward a verified video game retail employees. It will be in the form of promotion that will give chance to its members to sign up and win prizes such as PS4, PS Vita and other prizes. The promotional event runs from May 14 up to June 10 with a title of "Olli Olli Boosted Board Sweepstake.”
The leaked dcoument listed the prizes for the promotion and Sony's ARV (average retail value) of each item to be given away. Usually, ARV defines as the regular price of retail stores or online resellers on each items they are selling. United States law requires all commercial businesses running promotions to be transparent about the it. Information like the odds of winning, prizes that were given to winners, and ARV of each item are shown on official documents.
Sony has not yet announced any price cuts for PS Vita or PlayStation 4 prices. However, there is still a chance that the Japan-based company will make an official announcement for great PS Vita and PlayStation 4 price drops at the most awaited Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) event. Upcoming E3 will be held at Los Angeles Convention Center, USA from June 16-18.
