Android M or Android 6 is here and this new Google software will be in our phones from this fall. The new Android has come with some cool features like app permissions, Doze and more.

Android M or Android 6.0 Features To Watch Out For

1.   Doze - Improved Idle Battery Life: According to Gizmodo, Doze is the brand new feature in Android M. The devices powered by Android M will take help of motion detection to see if the device is idle for a long period of time. In case it is left alone, the Android M-powered smartphone will be in deep sleep mode. In this mode, the device will deliver high-priority messages and alarms.

2.   New Google Now - Now on Tap: When the user double taps the home screen, it means that it needs help from Google Now, this new feature is called Now on Tap. This feature on Android M can be used in Chrome as well.

3.   Fingerprint Technology And Android Pay: Android M-powered smartphones will have the fingerprint identification technology and according to Google, this will help in Android Pay. Using fingerprint, a user can authenticate on apps as well as on Chrome.

According to NDTV, Android Pay is a new feature that allows a user to pay using the smartphone in Android Pay supported apps and stores.

4.   Apps Permissions In Android M: Google's new Android software offering comes with a new update - app permissions. On Android M or Android 6.0, users can accept or reject the permissions to app and this is for security purposes. A new dashboard helps the user to choose which app can or can't d perform the functions.
