"FIFA 16" is set to feature at least 12 female football teams from Spain, Australia, Canada, England, Cuna, USA, France, Mexico, and Sweden. However, the bad news is that the game will not be available on the Nintendo consoles like Wii U, 3DS and on the PlayStation Vita.

EA COO Peter Moore said that they feel that Nintendo and PS Vita are not future-savvy, according to VG247. He reportedly said that, "To my point, we've got to be planning for FY17 and FY18. Do you think the Vita and 3DS are going to be around in some shape or fashion by then on a scale level?"

David Rutter announced that the decision to get female players in to the game's franchise was a long pending one and is finally seeing the light of the day.

He further said that this is a major achievement for EA sports. He also added that the players will now get an authentic experience when they will play with the women's national teams in FIFA, according to The Master Herald. The game includes great reference tools, innovation in capturing the players and is also very sophisticated.

The game is most likely hit North America on Sep. 22 and the rest of the regions will get it two days later. Latin America, Europe and Australia can expect the game on Sep. 24, according to the latest reports. UK will get it on Sep. 25 and the game will hit the markets of Brazil and Japan on Oct. 8.

Usually, FIFA is released on Dec. 31, but EA Sports is reportedly breaking its tradition this year.
