Although Chapter 6 of Naruto Gaiden: The 7th Hokage and the Scarlet Spring was scheduled for release on Thursday, several Naruto fans got some appetizer before the main course after eight pages of the chapter were leaked Wednesday on Reddit.
Organic Dinosaur, who craved a reputation as one of the best leaker/translator on Naruto Reddit community, posted a series of shots believed to be the first half of Chapter 6 in the Naruto Gaiden storyline.
Based on the leaked pages, Chapter 6 will pick up where the action left off at the end of chapter 5 when Sasuke engaged to a fight with still unknown remnants of the Uchiha clan and founding members of the New Akatsuki, trying to foil yet another attempt to abduct Sarada.
Sasuke, possessing the power of Sharingan and Rinnegan, appeared too much for the father and son combo to handle as he easily anticipated their attacks and unleashed a massive 'katon fireball no jutsu' towards the renegade Uchihas. When it seemed Sasuke's fireball jutso was going to roast both of them, the mysterious man with embedded Sharingans surprisingly used his son as a shield to avoid direct hit.
Sasuke asked what his real name, which the man obliged. He introduced himself as Shin Uchiha, which is exactly the same name as his son's (the Boy with the Sharingan). The man's confession baffled Sasuke, Sarada and Naruto, who were all wondering why they shared not only similar names but patterns on their Mangekyo Sharingans. Moreover, Shin added that he has been plotting to recruit Sasuke to the new Akatsuki, but his denial finally drew his ire.
Sasuke then asked Naruto to bring the children back to the village as he looked to settle the score with his opponent. However, as Naruto group about to flee, Shin appeared to be ready to show the true power of his Mangekyo Sharingan.
