Having Caitlyn Jenner, 65, and "The Bachelorette" season 11 star Kaitlyn Bristowe, 29, in the public eye at the same time is confusing for some people, including those in ABC's promo department, Jimmy Kimmel recently joked.
In the episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on June 2, Tuesday, a video features a fake promo cutting together clips of bachelors on the ABC reality dating competition "The Bachelorette" season 11 talking about Bristowe with clips from Jenner's "20/20" interview with Diane Sawyer.
In the hilarious video mash-up, "The Bachelorette" season 11 contestants offer praises for Jenner instead of Bristowe. One of them even offers a rose to the trans woman who recently graced the cover of Vanity Fair magazine, which was photographed by Annie Leibovitz.
Meanwhile, Bristowe recently gave her comment to the criticisms against her after she admitted to having sex with one of the contestants of the ABC reality dating competition.
"I knew people were going to get mad at me for kissing," "The Bachelorette" season 11 star told People. "I knew there were going to be magazines with crazy headlines. I prepared myself. I definitely have tough skin, but when people are calling you names like a sl*t, it hurts. It's been really hard."
The former dance instructor said while she is aware that she can be a "little too honest," she was shocked by the critics' clamor. She asked, "How is this still an issue where if a woman (has sex), it's wrong, and if a man does, it's right?"
