Although there have been speculations that the two will tie the knot next season, it seems that their wedding will actually take place sometime in seasons 10 or 11. "The Big Bang Theory" has already been renewed by CBS until season 11, heightening such speculation.

Meanwhile, show creator Steve Molaro previously hinted that Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy (Mayim Bialik) will get back together.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Molaro said that Sheldon and Amy are very much fond of each other. With this, the couple could reunite and their engagement may continue to push through. However, this does not mean that their relationship will not be faced with new challenges.

The same publication noted, however, that the depth of Sheldon and Amy's relationship may be given more focus in season 10. In fact, a Victorian wedding may even take place, but whether or not this wedding will be between Sheldon and Amy or Penny and Leonard has not yet been confirmed.

Additionally, Raj and Emily's relationship will also be given focus in season 9. Some speculations noted that the two may not end up together especially after Raj realizes that Emily is not the right girl for him.

"The Big Bang Theory" season 9 will premiere on CBS this coming September.
