Many passionate "Mortal Kombat X" fans were jubilant after reading Boon's tweet. Meat first appeared in "Mortal Kombat 4" and his last appearance was as a cameo in "Mortal Kombat 9."

However, due to Boon's habit of constantly trolling "Mortal Kombat" fans over the Internet, many were skeptical about the content of the upcoming "Kombat Pack 2" downloadable content.

According to Game Zone, the inclusion of Meat in the upcoming "Kombat Pack 2" will no doubt rake in lots of cash via download. Additionally, some of the rumored characters that might be included in the upcoming DLC are Rain and Sindel.

The last "Mortal Kombat X" downloadable content included Tanya, Tremor, Jason Voorhees from "Friday the 13th" movie series and Predator from the "Predator" movie series. The downloadable content also contained the Klassic Skins pack which contains Klassic Kano, Klassic Liu Kang and Sonya Blade, according to Vine Report. The Tanya add-on costs $4.99 while the Klassic Skins pack is priced $3.99.

"Mortal Kombat X" supports several platform including PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Android and iOS. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 version of the game is yet to be announced but rumors claim that will be released before the end of 2015.
