"Crazy In Love" hit maker Beyoncé faced a major backlash online on June 8, Monday, when she talked about her vegan diet and weight loss on "Good Morning America" show after it was promoted heavily that the singer has something important to share.

Since it was teased dramatically that Jay Z's wife has something big to reveal, music lovers and fans went into frenzy as they reportedly thought that the anouncement will be about a new album or a single track. Many fans even suggested that the 33-year-old singer is likely to announce her second pregnancy while some speculated on the possibility of the reunion of Destiny's Child, E! News reported.

Fans were left disheartened when the singer elaborated her diet plan called The 22-Day Revolution on the early morning show and took the opportunity to flaunt her incredibly fit physique, prompting an angry backlash on Twitter.

After the "GMA" episode aired, the members of Beyhive, as the singer's fans like to call themselves, took to social media to ridicule her by spamming her Instagram account with emojis of French fries, burgers, drumsticks and donuts.

"So Beyoncé woke yall up just to tell yall she lost weight?" tweeted one of the many disappointed fans, who reportedly made a point to check out the morning show in the anticipation that the singer will announce something important related to her career.

Beyoncé has been promoting the same diet plan since February when she announced her partnership with celeb nutritionist Marco Borges'  vegan meal delivery venture, under which 100 percent plant-based and non-GMO, gluten-free, soy-free, dairy-free vegan meal is delivered to the clients once a week.

The Texas-based singer said on "GMA" that the diet not only keeps her weight in check and it has improved the quality of her skin. Price for each meal is said to range from $9.76 to $16.50, Daily Mail reported.
