The Fox' latest thriller "Wayward Pines" has reached its midpoint. The show is set to air Episode 5 that is packed with jaw dropping twists. The upcoming segment is titled "The Truth" and will feature some major revelations. The next chapter of the series will deliver the answers to several burning questions as the truth about the mysterious happenings at the creepy town will be unraveled. Last week, fans saw that Ethan was declared the new Sheriff of the town. As he begins his work, he requests Theresa to pretend to be a happy family. Meanwhile, Theresa gets a realtors job and Ben is welcomed at Wayward Pines Academy.
According to the synopsis for Episode 5 "The Truth" (via TV Guide), Ethan leaves the town to find the answers related to it. Exploring the outer area of the town, Ethan discovers something that leaves him shocked.
Meanwhile, Theresa is at her work and meets her first client. She realizes her client is as clueless as her about the mysterious town. At Wayward Pines Academy, Meghan Fisher, the principal of the school, enlightens Ben about the place he is living in.
A promo video (via YouTube.com/ Television Promos) for Episode 5 of "Wayward Pines" Season 1 promises to finally reveal the secret. As per the trailer, the upcoming episode will unravel "what is Wayward Pines." Scroll down to watch the video.
Speaking to TV Line, actress Carla Gugino, who plays the role of Kate Hewson, teased some jaw-dropping reveals in Episode 5. The actress told the abovementioned publication that even though her character remains missing in "The Truth," but it is her favourite episode. It will reportedly contain "epic reveal."
"What's so cool about it is, retroactively, it made me want to go back and read all of the scripts that led up to it. All of a sudden, you see how it all adds up...," Gugino said.
