"Jurassic World" fans feel that Colin Trevorrow's dinosaur sequel will be a massive hit as dino-size amount of ticket is currently being sold.
Universal leads Trevorrow's "Jurassic World" to a high opening weekend gross as possible as the dinosaur sequel will be hitting 4,237 theaters, which is will hold studio's record as the widest opening ever. With this revealation, it is now estimated that "Jurassic World" will hit an opening gross of $100 million to $140 million, according to Deadline.
Trevorrow's film is making ticket sales more than last year's summer blockbusters, as per Fandango. As per the ticket-selling site, "Jurassic World" outsells Bryan Singer's "X-Men: Days Of Future Past," Michael Bay's "Transformers: Age of Extinction," Gareth Edward's "Godzilla," and James Gunn's "Guardians of the Galaxy."
Bay's "Tranformers: Age of Extinction," which starred Mark Wahlberg and Nicola Peltz got more than $100 million in its opening weekend after its release on June 27, 2014. It is possible that Trevorrow's "Jurassic World," will match or surpass the total as the film is predicted to represent 90% of Fandango's ticket sales this weekend.
"Jurassic World" serves as the fourth installment of the "Jurassic Park" franchise and is set 22 years after the incidents in Steven Spielberg's "Jurassic Park" in 1993. The Jurassic World theme park enlivens John Hammond's dream of creating a functional dinosaur park.
"Jurassic World" stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Vincent D'Onofrio, BD Wong, Brian Tee, Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, and Judy Greer.
