A recent job posting sighted at Gamasutra revealed that Amazon is looking for video game developers in order to help the company create its first ever PC game.

The post reads, "We're building a team of top talent for an ambitious new PC game project using the latest technology." It also added that the team Amazon has managed to employ consists of video game developers who has previously worked on top video game titles like "World of Warcraft," "Portal," and "BioShock."

Apparently, the Amazon developer team is currently based in Seattle and claims to have worked with "Infamous," "Shadows of Mordor," "Half Life 2," The Last of Us," Dota 2," "Halo," and "Left for Dead." Based on the job posting, Amazon is currently looking for designers, game engineers, visual effects artists, community managers and level designers.

On the job listing, Amazon wrote, "Amazon is committed to gamers, and building great teams who are excited to use Twitch, the cloud, and the technical innovation to radically evolve gameplay."

Recently, Amazon acquired the online game streaming company Twitch for $970 million deal. Twitch allows gamers all over the globe to live stream games as well as provide chat service while streaming.

Video game rental company GameFly recently launched its own game streaming service which uses Amazon Web Services.

According to Business Insider, Amazon is planning to host its video games on its own cloud service and Twitch will be responsible for gameplay broadcast. With its latest acquisitions and announcements, Amazon might be working on a cross-platforms multiplayer game.

Amazon has yet to release any substantial news about the status of its own video game. However, many industry experts predict that Amazon will be releasing major updates in the upcoming 2015 Electronic Entertainment Expo.
