The iPad Mini 4 release is expected in October, while the iPad Pro release may also happen before the end of the year.

iPad Mini were usually unveiled in October prompting analysts to predict that there is a strong chance that this October will be no exception as well, according to Venture Capital Post.

The first iPad Mini was launched on Oct. 23, 2012. It was followed by its worthy successor iPad Mini 2, which was also launched exactly a year later on Oct. 22, 2013. iPad Mini 3 was launched on Oct. 16, 2014, hence it is speculated that this October will also see the release of the iPad Mini 4.

Meanwhile, there is also a strong buzz that Apple is planning to discontinue the first iPad Mini and iPad Mini 3 upon the release of the new model. If the rumor is true then only iPad Mini 2 will still be on the shelves as a cheaper variant to the upcoming model.

iPad Mini 4 specs will purportedly include the A8X processor, which was used in the iPad Air 2. It is expected to sport 2GB RAM and 802.11ac WiFi as well. It is speculated to be priced at around $399.

On the other hand, another iPad that is creating a lot of buzz is the iPad Pro. It is also expected to be released alongside the iPad Mini 4 in October, according to Vine Report.

The iPad Pro is rumored to have a quad-core powerful processor and a storage capacity of 128GB. Though the exact RAM specification is not known, yet it is speculated that the iPad Pro will be packed with at least 2GB of RAM.

It is also expected to have a 2K Quad-HD screen of around 12 inches for high quality viewing experience. It may also have a stylus for a more optimally user experience along with a TouchID fingerprint security device as well.
