Ahead of the E3 2015, Valve has announced a major overhaul to the most popular “Dota 2,” dubbed as “Dota 2 Reborn,” in an effort to change the way gamers play and stream.

“Dota 2 Reborn” will be coming in three parts with the first part revealed now introducing new interface, new engine, and Custom Games. Early next week, players will have information about the new Custom Games unveiled, with the details of the new engine and the open beta of the first part to follow soon.

“Everything in the dashboard has been redesigned utilizing a new UI framework and the engine that powers the game has been fully replaced,” as detailed on the Dota 2 Website.

The new redesigned dashboard is said to be more intuitive with buttons to launch any session from anywhere and voice chat features. The dashboard also comes with the feature to merge two parties of players. A new activity feed has been included to let the gamers check achievements of their friends.

The hero browser in “Dota 2 Reborn” comes with a new feature where players can demo a hero and try out the various abilities. Valve has also promised a new chat interface and chat rooms with support for nearly 5,000 gamers, according to PC Gamer.

“Dota 2 Reborn” will be running on a new engine – speculated to be the long-awaited Source 2, though it is not specified. DotaTV has also been upgraded and streams are now allowed to hit 1080p at 60fps. In “Dota 2 Reborn” new tutorials have been added to teach the mechanics, players can share their own description of the matches.

Valve is expected to reveal more information about the “Dota 2 Reborn” before the launch of open beta.
