Among the latest "Empire" season 2 spoilers is the announcement that the hit Fox show producers are looking for a baby-faced actress to play the recurring role of Betty Barz, which is likely to be the nemesis of Cookie Lyon (Taraji P. Henson.)

Airing on Sept. 23, "Empire" season 2 episode 1 titled "The Devils Are Here" will introduce Betty Barz, also known as Betty Gathers and The Queen O' 16S. She is described as African-American teenage rapper who is also a moody, outspoken and "unapologetically butch," TVLine has learned.

The "Empire" producers want a baby-faced actress to play Betty Barz, who has an incontestable talent that has led to her winning "more rhyme battles and girls' hearts than the best male vets on her block."

In addition, it has been revealed that Betty Barz is "charismatic and witty with a street lean" but her road to fame will not be smooth as her "deep fears push her toward self-sabotage."  So far, no actresses are rumored to be playing the potentially breakout role as Cookie Lyon's nemesis in "Empire" season 2.

Executive producers Danny Strong and Ilene Chaiken are currently writing "Empire" season 2 premiere. At the ATX Television Festival in Austin, Texas, Strong told ETonline one thing that he hates, which is at the end of each episode, the "Next week on 'Empire'" promo gives away too much of the plot.

Strong said he wrote and directed the coming out/White Party episode titled "The Lyon's Roar" so he insisted that the video promotion team not give away that Jamal Lyon (Jussie Smollett) was coming out in the episode as he is spoiler-free when it comes to "Empire."
