The software giant Google has yet to make an official announcement about the Nexus 5 (2015); however, there have been several speculations on the specifications and features of the forthcoming handset.

According to rumors, Google Nexus 5 (2015) will come in two models. One model, code-named Bullhead, is rumored to be made by LG. The second model, code-named Angler, is rumored to be made by Huawei.

It is believed that Google is planning to launch its new Android M operating system in the third quarter of 2015. Therefore, it is expected that the new Nexus 5 (2015) will feature the Android M out of the box.
According to Latinos Post, the new smartphone will pack a fingerprint sensor and Android Pay.

Android Pay is designed to make the checkout process quicker and convenient. The software giant Google is aiming to offer choice and security with Android Pay, letting users to use their existing credit cards to pay for items in more than 700,000 stores in the United States. The fingerprint sensor will add more security to the Nexus 5 2015.

According to Concept Phones, the latest Nexus 5 2015 vision comes from DBS who posted a video clip on YouTube showing off the rumored specifications of the smartphone.

The new Nexus 5 packs 4GB RAM, Snapdragon 820 processor and 5.5 inch Quad HD AMOLED screen display. In addition, it shows off Android M operating system, heart rate sensor, 4,000 mAh removable battery, USB Type C port, 13 MP front-facing camera and 20 MP rear-facing camera with OIS 2.0 and F/1.8 lens. Other features include 1TB additional storage via microSD slot and 64 or 128GB of storage.

Reports also suggest that the Android M increases Nexus 5's Battery Life by more than 500 hours. The finding is based on the test conducted by a German blog site which showed that a Nexus 5 running on Android M will see standby battery time increase of 533 hours.

Furthermore, the software company Google will offer two-year guarantee for Android OS updates, Android Police reported. It means that Nexus devices will receive major system updates for two years from OS release date. In addition, Nexus devices will be guaranteed to receive security patches for 18 months from the date of purchase in the Google Store/Play Store.

According to rumors, the Google Nexus 5 (2015)  is set for release between October and November 2015.
