Microsoft will start to unleash the power of Windows 10 on July 29 through its offer of free upgrade to desktops, laptops and tablet computers running on Windows 7 and later versions. Will the Surface Pro 4 release date follow shortly?
With banner new features such as the Microsoft Edge browser and Continuum plus the power of Intel Skylake chips, Windows 10 has generated excitement unseen in recent years. But to actually get an optimized experience of the overhauled operating system, Microsoft will likely follow up the launch with the Pro 4 unboxing in the immediate weeks ahead, possibly within August.
Such move makes sense, according to Vine Report, as the tablet computer would surely showcase the power packed with Windows 10. First off, reports are widespread that that Pro 4 will benefit from the latest mobile application processor from Intel, either of the Core M Broadwell or Skylake chip. Or both.

The front panel is a generous 12-inch window that beams out in 2K resolution with the on-board camera combo boasting of an 8MP rear shooter and a 3.5MP front cam. The storage configuration could get as high as 1TB though other variants could be made available such as the 128GB, 256GB and 500GB editions.
Likely paired with the Surface Pro 4's Intel brain is up to 16GB of RAM that will allow the mobile device to behave exactly like a desktop machine - able to perform all manner of computing tasks with speed and stability.
And with so much power at its disposal, the Pro 4 is fully-equipped to handle the new technologies that Microsoft plans to introduce soon. The device, Vine Report said, is likely natively designed to work with Holo Lens, which is the tech giant's virtual reality experimental toy that uses Windows 10 as its platform.
So an August 2015 release date for the Surface Pro 4 will work nicely for Microsoft. To be sure, the tech giant will best showcase the killer features exclusively written for Widows 10 by unleashing the device soon after the unified OS.
