Amazon.com had accidently leaked information on the new 1 TB Xbox One at the beginning of this month, Windows Central reported. However, now Microsoft has confirmed the new gaming console. It will arrive with a new wireless controller that is equipped with a new 3.5 mm audio jack.

Users can directly connect their favorite gaming headset on the controller. Users can control the volume settings be accessing the Settings menu on the Xbox One. Based on the feedback of the users, Microsoft has improved the audio output through the controller, Xbox Wire reported.

The new controller supports wireless firmware updates. It means users will no longer need to connect the controller to the Xbox One console through a USB cable to install new firmware. Moreover, users will also be able to buy the new controller as a standalone device.

Buyers of the 1 TB Xbox One in the United States, will be provided a free game with the title "Halo: The Master Chief Collection." According to Xbox Wire, users can enjoy the recent titles such as the "Halo 5: Guardians", "Forza Motorsport 6" and "Rise of the Tomb Raider" on the new Xbox One. Apart from the huge inbuilt storage, users can access more storage by connecting an USB 3.0 external hard drive.

Microsoft has also announced that it will be slashing the price of the 500 GB Xbox One to $349. Windows Central adds that the Redmond giant had previously stated that the new pricing was a promotional offer, but it did not reveal when the offer would expire. The new price tag will be available for buyers in the U.S. as well as other target regions such as the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan and India.
